Q&A Of Frequently asked questions
Q&A Of Frequently asked questions
Q: How do I book for an event?
A: The best way to book me is to schedule a consultation. During the consultation, we’ll meet to discuss general information, sign the contract, and secure your date with a deposit. After that, we dive into the event details to prepare everything and get ready to rock the house!
Q: Do you play your own setlist?
A: No, I am an open-format DJ, meaning I love all types of music. For your event, I gather music preferences directly from you and build the playlist based on your selections. I may add songs that complement your choices, but it’s your event—you and your guests will hear exactly what you want.
Q: Do you play clean and explicit music?
A: Yes, I can play either—based on your preferences. I can even structure the event so that clean music plays earlier and we switch to explicit once the older crowd leaves. For example, at most weddings, we keep it clean until it’s time to turn up!
Q: Why are wedding DJs different from club DJs?
A: Wedding DJs are different on so many levels. Beyond just showing up and playing music, a wedding DJ spends months preparing with the couple—handling playlists, equipment needs, and timing. As a wedding DJ, I also act as the MC and work closely with your wedding planner. Through questionnaires, meetings, and final reviews, my goal is to make sure you feel confident knowing everything is handled.
Q: Are there add-ons or customizations?
A: More than you can imagine!
